Anamaria Martinca is an actress from Romania. Her screen debut came in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. She can fluently speak French, German English, as well as Romanian. Her father, a professor of theater at one of Romania's top theater schools, also theater teacher. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award at the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. She was selected as an European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. The actress later played a significant role in the 2014 film Fury where she played the role of a German woman who was named Irma the aunt of Emma.
