Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character in the series One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the final four seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were featured on One Tree Hill's episodes, helping to propel her debut album from 2012 to the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached the top ten spot. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised in the area, discovered her love for the country genre. Then she decided to pursue an acting career. Her debut professional appearance was acting in the film Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was still a teenager. Her appearances were in guest spots on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer played on 90210 from 2008 to 2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. In 2009, she played the role of Alex Dupre. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and the Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed together helped the album reach third place on the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. In the same year, she had a huge adult contemporary track with Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
