Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter that made her name known on the television screen when she was played by Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were included in episodes of One Tree Hill which helped propel her debut album in 2012 into in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. The follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances in Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. She would later be pursuing a recording career. However, she started her career acting as an actress, making her onscreen debut on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teens. Gaston spots on TV shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the subsequent years before she was cast in the role of Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season, 2007-2008. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as well as Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009. Kramer has released her second studio album Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. It was boosted by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The month of September 2016 saw her stint on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th place final. The same year, Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was hugely popular among adults.
