Leona LaurenLeona Louise Lewis, born 3 April 1985. She is an actress as well as a singer and activist who hails from Britain. "Bleeding Love", the lead single of Spirit, remained #1 within the UK for seven weeks. It also was the top-selling UK single. The single was the top-selling of 2008, and Lewis received an award for her work, the Billboard Award for the Most Popular New Artist. In 2009, she dropped her second studio album, Echo as well as recorded the title track, "I See You" to be used in the film Avatar. Lewis' song "Collide," was a collaboration between Swedish DJ Avicii and she also released Hurt: the EP, her first play that was extended. Her album Glassheart, her third studio effort, Glassheart (2012), marked a new creative direction for Lewis and her music, drawing the inspiration of dubstep and electronic music. Lewis began recording music to her first Christmas album in the course of her Glassheart Tour, which took between mid-2013. Christmas with Love came out later in the year. The album's first single, "One More Sleep" reached the top spot at three within the UK. Through this chart entry, Lewis made history as the only British woman soloist to reach the top five with eight singles. She beat Olivia Newton-John's record of seven.
