
Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress known for her performances in the films 'Beta' Saajan', and 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun ..!' She started her career in the 1980s , and became famous for her part in the film 'Tezaab' where she starred alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Next, she appeared in the film "Dil" in which she shared screen space alongside Aamir Khan. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing in the early years of her life. She ventured into acting as an infant and struggled for several years because most of her early films ended up being flops. Her career eventually took off and she became one of the most renowned actresses in Indian film. Following her wedding, she took some time off from acting and then returned to the entertainment industry. In the past, she was an important part in the film "Gulaab Gang", which was about the struggle of women across India. Dixit has been nominated fifteen times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of the awards she received were for her. She was also honored with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honor in India. She is well-known for her work with the social sector as well.
